Infosecurity Europe 2025 was held from 3 to 5 June 2025 at ExCeL London in the United Kingdom. The event brought together cybersecurity professionals, vendors, researchers, public-sector representatives and technology leaders for three days of technical sessions, demonstrations and industry collaboration.
The event is included in the official aSIEMmetry timeline because it represents one of Europe’s major meeting points for security operations, emerging technologies and cyber-resilience discussions.
Addressing the operational challenges of modern SOCs
Security Operations Centres are expected to manage growing volumes of data while identifying sophisticated threats more quickly. Traditional rules and signatures remain necessary, but they may not detect attacks that rely on legitimate credentials, approved tools or slowly developing behavioural changes.
aSIEMmetry is developing a security-entropy multi-agent model to help address this gap. The model evaluates the behaviour of SIEM-monitored assets and aims to identify deviations that become significant when viewed across users, devices, applications and network relationships.
Using AI while maintaining analyst control
The project also includes a specialized LLM SOCagent designed to help analysts organize evidence, reconstruct activity and understand why an anomaly has been prioritized. The component is intended to support investigation rather than make unverified decisions independently.
This human-centred design aligns with an important theme in the cybersecurity community: AI should improve analyst capacity while remaining explainable, auditable and grounded in observable data.
Supporting trusted deployment
Infosecurity Europe also provides a relevant setting for discussions about data governance, regulation, model security and deployment architecture. aSIEMmetry’s self-hosted strategy is intended to give organizations stronger control over sensitive telemetry and reduce reliance on external public AI services.
The event’s inclusion in the project timeline reflects aSIEMmetry’s connection with the wider European cybersecurity community. Conferences of this scale provide valuable context for understanding operational priorities, adoption barriers and the expectations that security teams have for future AI-assisted SOC capabilities.
